CONFINEMENT MOTET

I made something about what realization of our deathfulness can do for our notions of eternity—also about survival, human-bird hybrids and trash—under lockdown. A technicolor dreamcoat poem that needed to be performed in isolation. Thanks to the Poetry Project for including “Confinement Motet” in today's House Party, videopoem and essay. Thanks also to Lin Hixson for the performance prompt and the reading from Braidotti, to Ariana Reines and the public of the RILKING experiment, to Opera Povera for Full Pink Moon, and to Milli Graffi for just—being.
